President Weah inspects ongoing work at 14-military hospital; expresses satisfaction at pace of project


Monrovia- President George Weah on Sunday made a surprise visit at the site where the current construction of the 14-military hospital is ongoing.

According to an Executive mansion dispatch, the President visited the site to see progress of work by engineers and engage them as it relates to timely execution of the project. The project when completed, is expected serve men and women of the Armed Forces of Liberia, as well as surrounding communities where it is being constructed.

Construction works currently ongoing at the site

It can be recalled, the President broke grounds few months ago for the construction of a 200 rooms military hospital. The hospital is currently being constructed by the engineering battalion of the Armed Forces of Liberia, but materials procurement were done through private businesses. A source closed to the President told The Liberian Billboard that the President is satisfied with the pace of the project so far, but urged the Armed Forces engineers who are heading the project to implement it in a timely manner.
