Monrovia, Liberia: The President of the Republic of Liberia, Dr. George Weah, has told Liberians that he was confident that his government would have been vindicated in the missing banknotes saga.

Speaking to reporters at the RIA upon his arrival from Israel on Sunday, President Weah said, he is satisfied with both reports from USAID and the Government of Liberia, and promised that all those found liable will be given the due process of law.

Commenting further, the Liberian President called on Liberians who are making claims without facts to desist from such action as it has the ability to ignite chaos and stir violence. He also called on Liberians to avoid rioting, stating that it would undermine Liberia’s peace and stability.

Meanwhile, former CBL Executive Governor, Milton Weeks, and the bank’s Deputy Governor for operations, Charles Sirleaf and Dorbor Hargba are expected to be charged with Economic Sabotage on Monday.
